Art Partner
I recently received the internship I have been waiting to announce and now that its official I finally can!
I will be working for Art Partner in Soho. This is the internship I have wanted most and exactly where I want to be, so amazing for things to unfold the way that you envisioned, proving that with hard work, determination, and persistence dreams can come true. I will be working amongst some of my favorite photographers, videographers of all time such as Terry Richardson and Mario Testino working with agents, producers, and the film department.
Check out their work and clients here... www.artpartner.com

The Escapist
And in the end
We lie awake
And we dream
We're making our escape
I was looking through a lot of old photographs and this song instantly came to my mind and reminded me why I think it is so beautiful. Whenever I hear it I feel like it takes me back to my past and zooms me through to the future, and the future I always see looks amazing. Reminds me why I try so hard not to forget.

Blue Valentine
“I feel like men are more romantic than women. When we get married we marry one girl. Cause we’re Resistant the whole way until we meet one girl and we think I’d be an idiot if I didn’t marry this girl she’s so great. But it seems like girls get to a place where they just kinda pick the best option...‘Oh he’s got a good job.’ I mean they spend their whole life looking for Prince Charming and then they marry the guy who’s got a good job and is gonna stick around.”
Bear with me on my writing here, but I wanted to post this while it was still fresh on my mind. I have heard the buzz from Blue Valentine for such a long time and finally got a chance to watch it last night. If you heard the hype about the acting, and how good it is then you heard right. Both actors were perfect for the part and play so well together in love that it is painful to watch their fall from grace. Sort of the classic case of guy who loves girl and girl who doesn't know what she wants. I read a critique the other day that basically said a great film, great acting but a hard one to view again or recommend and I think that is entirely true. This film will do all of the following, make you remember good feelings, bad feelings, the high points of love and the mundane but overall I think it was truely worth viewing expect to see them both up for the Academy Award.
Did you see it? What other movies do you recommend?

LOS ANGELES
I wanted to start this New Year off with a bang so I took my nephew to his first Laker game. I was able to take him all throughout my old stomping grounds and workspace of Hollywood Blvd and ventured up for a tour of Griffith Park, perfect ending for a perfect trip back home. : )
His face was so priceless when we got to the Staples Center and ventured inside.
And of course, the Lakers won! Now I'm ready for my Knicks game on January 30th.

Snow-ward Bound.
I am leaving Sunny Southern California with anticipation to return to my apartment in Freezing Brooklyn. I am really looking forward to being back in my own room, my own place, and returning to work, school, interning and the daily grind the is NYC life. I enjoyed my trip home, got to see all the old friends and spent some much needed time with my family. I have a lot to look forward to in the city this year, new classes, Spring in NY, and an internship that I will mention in a later post. : )
Hell I'm even ready to see some snow.. maybe not the storm that is coming as soon as I get back.. but some.
Anyways got some new gear before braving the cold, some sick boots, jacket, scarves, and of course the Official TUX&TIE winter hat.
What are your winter essentials? Hit me with a comment in the comment box.

MORE TO COME.
Tomorrow I will start r-eblogging and I have a feeling this year is gonna be amazing. I have a few suprises that is gonna make this year perfect. I wanted to use this post as a self reflection, just to recall what made this year so special for me. Graduating CSUSM and walking across that stage. Drake at Radio City. Vimeo Awards. Hard NYC. Moving to NYC. Acceptance into Pratt. Working at TrailerPark in Hollywood. Meeting Levi Maestro and 13th Witness. FNO. Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson. NERD concert at Kimmel. And of course going to every parade, museum, and fine arts show in NYC.
So thankful to have such a blessed year.
Now to see how I can top it : )
